Discovery Pass
Our best value ticket for those making multiple visits - either to the same site several times or simply to the different sites. Especially fantastic for those with children!
What is it?
A Discovery Pass card costs only £22 and is issued for 12 months from the date of purchase to a named individual over 18 years. Allowing unlimited visits (during seasonal opening hours) to:
- Castle Cornet
- Guernsey Museum
- Fort Grey
- German Naval Signals Headquarters
PLUS:
- FREE ENTRY for all accompanying children (under 18 years)
- 10% discount in the museum gift shops and Guernsey Information Centre (card must be shown when paying)
- Free entry to Jersey Museum & Alderney Museum (Named Pass Holder only)
Is it worth it for me?
YES - If you have children and are likely to be popping in for more frequent, shorter periods.
YES - If you plan on visiting our changing exhibitions at Guernsey Museum through the year.
YES - If you're a visitor planning on seeing each of our sites or visiting the island again within 12 months.
YES - if you want to visit for our museum event days but don't want to queue - staff permitting, we'll often have a queue-bypass for our Discovery Pass holders.

The cards are issued at time of purchase and are available from:

Can I buy one as a gift?
Of course! You can do this at our sites by asking at the desk and you will be able to take the Discovery Pass away with you there and then.
If you cannot visit in person, please email museums@gov.gg with the subject 'Discovery Pass Gift' and let us know how many passes, the name(s) of the recipients, a preferred start date within a reasonable timeframe and a contact number for us to take payment over the phone. The gift pass will then need to be collected from Guernsey Museum at Candie or can be posted for an additional fee.
Do you do a pass for families?
For families, each adult simply purchases a pass and all children coming in with them will be free. This ensures excellent value and is more inclusive for families of all sizes.
Please note, the passes are for the named individual only and cannot be transferred between people.
What do I need to bring?
To purchase the pass, we just take a name and local/visitor statistic (and email if you wish) so no need to bring anything except your £22.
Once your pass has been issued, it is essential you bring it for entry into our sites or you will be charged the usual entry fee. Your pass is strictly not transferable and you may be asked for further proof of identity on entry.
I've lost my pass, what do I do?
If you've lost your Discovery Pass, please visit Guernsey Museum in Candie Gardens, where they will be able to check records and see if your pass would still be valid and you can then purchase a replacement card at a much-reduced cost.
