Peace Day Picnic
Sunday 14 July
Bring a picnic, dress in vintage clothing and join in the activities to mark 100 years since Peace Day in 1919.
There will be live music, crafts and living history.
Everyone is very welcome to bring picnic lunches and dress in whatever 'vintage' clothing they have.
The event is weather dependent, as everything will take place outside in the gardens. Entry is free. The timings will be be approximately 12.00-15.00.
Peace Day fetes were held to mark the end of the First World War all over England. Guernsey joined in too and each parish made a tremendous effort to mark the occasion.
