Guernsey Museum Archaeology Group

Archaeologists At Work

Most of the archaeological excavation which takes place in Guernsey is carried out by the Guernsey Museum Archaeology Group, under the direction of the States Archaeologist. We are always keen to welcome new volunteers to this group, to work on excavations or to help in the processing of finds. Most of the group are also members of the Archaeology Section of La Société Guernesiaise. La Société also organises events and activities specifically for children.
