Notable Women of Guernsey
The Notable Women of Guernsey foyer display highlights the lives and achievements of over 30 remarkable women.
Amongst the women are those who helped shape Guernsey's heritage, who implemented political change, who inspired others though the medium of art and who achieved great sporting and scientific feats.
Curated with the aim of introducing visitors to both new and familiar faces, the display brings to the fore an important aspect of our island's history - the contribution of women.
Visitors will get a chance to experience elements of the display out-of-doors, with additional panels located on the Candie Garden terrace.
Visitors can also walk in the footsteps of Notable Women of Guernsey via the FREE tailor-made self-guided town walk, available in pdf. format at the bottom of this page, or from the Guernsey Museum at Candie front desk.
The display runs from the 26th of January - 14th of April 2024. Normal Admission applies. Entry is FREE for Discovery Pass holders.
